Gmail Starts to Block Unwanted Emails and Sender

Gmail started a nice featured i.e. “block ” feature to their web interface and mobile app. If you’re getting emails you don’t want in your inbox, you can block the sender, unsubscribe from the sender, or report the message depending on the type of email.

Steps to Block a sender

Computer

1) Open the email.
2) At the top right of the email, click the down arrow.
3) Click Block [sender].

If you blocked someone by mistake, you can unblock them using the same steps.

Android phone or tablet

1) Open the email.
2) On the top right of the message, touch the gray menu Menu.
3) Touch Block [sender].

If you blocked someone by mistake, you can unblock them using the same steps.

View and edit senders you’ve blocked

1) On a computer, open Gmail.
2) Click the gear icon Settings.
3) Click Settings.
4) Click Filters and Blocked Addresses and scroll to the bottom.
