VLC media player (commonly known as VLC) is a portable, open-source and cross-platform media player written by the videolan.org company. Steps to record desktop video
Step 1. Open VLC player, and click on View => Advanced Controls. A few more buttons will appear on above of control buttons.
Step 2. Click on Media => Open Capture Device from menu bar OR Press CTRL+C button.
Step 3. In opened window select desktop option as capture mode and enter 10 frame/second (10.00 f/s) aftre that click on convert button from dropdown.
Step 4. Now can see the another window, in that window select destination file as output and click on start, now your desktop is start recording your movement on your computer.
