How to re-generate post thumbnails in WordPress

When you transfer your website from localhost or development server to production server, some time thumbnails of your posts are not display correctly.

Installation of regenerate thumbnail plugin

If you have just started with WordPress, you should first read: How to install WordPress plugins. The installation of this plugin is very easy as others. Below is the steps to install this plugin:

Step 1) Click on Plugins => Add New
Step 2) Search for “Regenerate Thumbnails”.
Step 3) Click install.
Step 4) Click activate.

After installation of this plugin and click on the Tools => Regenerate Thumbnails option from admin panel. This will regenerate thumbnails for all images you have upload in your websites/blogs.


Now click on the Regenerate All Thumbnails button.


After completed the generate thumbnail option you will see the reports like how many thumbnail images are re-generated by this process.
