Hi, folks hope you are doing good, this is a quick tutorial. In this tutorial, I will explain how to create a function to automatically set featured image of your posts.
Below function will fetch the first image of the post content and automatically set as featured image for your posts. Open your functions.php file and copy paste below function at the end of the file.
The function autoset_featured()
will set featured image automatically for your post, but if you add manually featured image, then that image will display instead of this.
