404 Page not found error are due to the error in your htaccess file which is hosted on the root directory of your WordPress website OR it may something went wrong with the URL rewrite rule in your htaccess. To fix this error login in your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to the Settings => Permalinks option.


Select the permalinks as a post and save changes it will flush your rewrite rule your page will start loading correctly. After doing the above step if you still facing the same error, then make sure you have given write permission of your htaccess file. If you have not given write permission to htaccess file, then login into your website by using FileZilla FTP client and go to the root directory of your website and give write permission to htaccess file. You can also add below code in your .htaccess file manually:
