WordPress has also maintained the revisions of your posts and pages when you are updating your posts & pages by using the admin panel.
Post revisions have stored in your MySQL database and it will occupy your database space, so if you want to completely disable the WordPress default functionalities called “Post revisions”, then keep your close attention in this post.
Navigate to the Root directory of your WordPress website and open wp-config.php file and add below code at the end of the file.
define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', false );
