Google search console now allows removal of XML sitemaps

In this tutorial, I am going to share about how to remove the XML sitemap from the new google search console.

If you have added some XML sitemap in your Google search console and that is not needed any more, then now you can remove those by following the bellow easy steps:

  • Login to your Google search console and navigate to Sitemap option from left menu.
  • Now click on sitemap which you want to remove.
  • Click on three dots and click on “Remove sitemap”.
  • Now your sitemap will be deleted permanently.
